The entire team of LGI (well nearly all 51 of us) reunited in Bordeaux this year for our annual team-building trip. As LGI continues to grow and has also sprouted several home offices all over France, it was the perfect occasion to get together and welcome several new additions to the team .  

LGI is now present in all major French cities apart from one: Bordeaux. This meant a bit of coordination, but we all eventually arrived from our respective cities in time for lunch  on a terrace overlooking the Garonne river. We then kicked things off with a presentation covering the company’s recent accomplishments, followed by a game of Two Truths and a Lie, to test our knowledge of our colleagues. The day ended with a group dinner while enjoying a night out on the town. 

Our time spent in Bordeaux was packed with fun and loads of walking. While the trip started off with some rain, it did not get our spirits down. We hit up the Musée du Vin and finished with an exquisite wine tasting on the rooftop as the sunshine finally broke through the clouds! After a quick lunch break at the Halles de Bacalan food market, we then headed to our second activity of the day: solving a murder mystery while taking in some of the city’s history. 

We split into 10 different teams and for several hours ran around Bordeaux, competing against each other trying to figure out various enigmas. Then in true LGI style, to end an already-amazing day, we boarded a privatised boat to watch the sunset and dance the night away. 

For the newcomers, LGI’s 14th team-building trip lived up to the hype of past years. Great memories were made in Bordeaux, and it is safe to say that LGIers are looking forward to the next one already!
