The H2020-funded “Subseasonal-to-seasonal Forecasts for Energy” (S2S4E) project is proud to announce the official launch of “Resilience”, its fully functional decision support tool for the energy market. The event will take place on 20 June 2019 in Brussels, during the European Union Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW).

Taking into consideration complex climate data is key for the energy sector. However, this information can be difficult to integrate into decision-making processes, and a gap exists between the source of the data and its final users. Resilience has been co-designed with major market players of the EU energy sector to narrow this gap and be a game-changer for the renewables sector.

Meet key speakers from the S2S4E partnership in this Official Side Event of the EUSEW19. Mathieu Salel, senior innovation strategist at LGI, will be talking about how “Resilience” differs from existing climate services and how it anticipates policy changes to be introduced by the Clean energy for all Europeans package. Registration is open and free to everyone interested in state-of-the-art seamless climate predictions for the sub-seasonal and seasonal timescales. Please, click HERE to register.
