I believe that LGI would offer opportunities for cross-disciplinary and exciting learning that would provide me with all the necessary knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in my professional career.
Rayan Harissi is the latest addition to LGI team. He works as an intern, and is responsible for part of the MARCO and RAGTIME Projects. We decided to ask Rayan some questions and get to know him better.
Could you tell us a bit about your background and what attracted you to LGI Consulting?
I am an environmental professional bearing a multidisciplinary educational and vocational background. I graduated from the American University of Beirut (AUB), with a Master’s degree in Environmental Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health. I have around 5 years of diversified local and international experience in different sectors including, but not limited to, construction, consultancy, and UN agencies. I am currently in the process of attaining a Mastère Spécialisé (Advanced Post-Master) in International Environmental Management at École nationale supérieure des mines de Paris (Mines ParisTech).
Given my diverse background and my keen desire to continuously learn and grow by taking advantage of the things I experience; LGI is of particular interest to me in that it will enable me to apply what I have learned during my academic and vocational experiences. I believe that LGI would offer opportunities for cross-disciplinary and exciting learning that would provide me with all the necessary knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in my professional career. In addition, LGI is an avenue for me to put in hard work, take full responsibility of duties alloted to me and be exposed to a culturally diverse team.
