This year, LGI became a member of ORÉE, a professional association dedicated to territorial environmental programmes – some of the priorities it focuses on are biodiversity and circular economy. In fact, ORÉE has been chosen by the French Ministry of Social & Ecological Transition as one of the ambassadors of its national roadmap to circular economy.

As a new member of the association, LGI’s representative Esti Sanvicente was invited by ORÉE to be part of the French delegation during the Holland Circular Hotspot Economy Week last June.  The event was a great opportunity to discover the Netherland’s main successes related to circular economy & the environment in the building, agrofood, textile, electronics & water management sectors.

LGI’s Eve Dallamaggiore is now active in ORÉE’s working group on circular economy in the building sector.

LGI expects fruitful collaboration with ORÉE, especially in the frame of our circular economy projects:

  • paperCHAIN: recycling of paper industry’s wastes
  • HOUSEFUL: circular buildings
  • SCRREEN & PROMETIA: critical raw materials experts’ network
  • CICERONE: EU platform for including circular economy in the European Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda; in which ORÉE is involved as well.
