ITER Economic Assessment
Study of ITER economic benefits
The study evaluated the economic benefits of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) fusion programme for the EU industry. It compiled structured data on all contracts and grants from the Fusion for Energy (F4E) partnership, F4E Member States, the ITER Organisation, voluntary contributors, and the European Commission. The study also projected future payments.
The report analyzed the value generated from these contracts across various EU sectors. It assessed short-, medium-, and long-term benefits for European industrial value chains, thus providing insight into the project's comprehensive impact now that it has concluded.
