Transport innovation gender observatory

The TInnGO project developed a framework and mechanisms for a sustainable game change in European transport through a strategy of gender and diversity sensitive smart mobility.

TInnGO created a Pan European Observatory for gender smart transport innovation that provided a nexus for data collection, reports, gender and diversity action plans, interviews with experts, training materials, scientific publications, news, surveys and other initiatives. An Open Innovation Platform was also created to allow the aggregation and channelling of innovative ideas in the field of gender smart mobility. The objective behind both platforms was to provide useful resources to bring about change in the approach to mobility at European level.

• Creation and maintenance of the Observatory and the Open Innovation Platform, an online repository that channels all the data and results of the TInnGO project, with an agile approach
• Organisation of brainstorming workshops with hubs and focus groups with potential users to channel discussions and gather feedback on the Observatory website
• Management of a French Mobility Hub through which we analyzed and collected existing data; gathered good practices; promoted policy recommendations and engaged with local stakeholders in order to promote gender sensitive transport planning in the Ile-de-France Region
