Mineral supply-chain disruptions would have long-range impacts on electrification, as well as on energy transition security and on achieving the decarbonization targets.

The project EIS aims to develop innovative exploration concepts and data analysis tools to secure new sources of critical raw materials for the EU’s economy.

EIS develops the “EIS Toolkit” and the “EIS QGIS Wizard”. These tools will be open-source and will provide critical information for the mining sector and geoscientists.
