Specific Grant Agreement n01 to scale the cities mission platform
SGA-NZC scales the activities of the Mission Platform created under NetZeroCities, to support the implementation of the EU Mission for Climate Neutral and Smart Cities. It supports 112 cities selected by the European Commission to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 and act as experimentation and innovation hubs to enable all European cities to follow suit by 2050, in line with the EU Green Deal objectives. The Mission Platform serves as resource and service hub for climate ambitious cities, leveraging expert support and peer-to-peer collaboration. This includes support in developing and implementing ‘Climate City Contracts’, finance and investment support through a Climate City Capital Hub, support to innovative approaches with ‘Pilot Cities’ and ‘Enabling City Transformation’ programmes - and fostering replication via a Twinning Programme.
OUR ROLE
- Overall support to the project coordination as project management office (PMO)
- Leadership of the communication and dissemination activities
- Design and development on online Mission Portal www.netzerocities.app
- Innovation Management with the development of an Innovation Lab, engagement of external practitioners with a Community of Practice
