What is the Urban Transitions Mission Centre? The Urban Transitions Mission Centre (UTMC) is a global platform promoting urban sustainability and facilitating climate-neutral transitions. Building on the European Mission for Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, it connects cities worldwide with policy, implementation, and funding solutions through international exchanges. The UTMC provides cities with evidence-based solutions and tools while fostering global cooperation to accelerate urban climate transitions.

LGI mobilizes three BUs for the UTMC: the Tech BU develops an innovative collaborative platform based on NetZeroCities, with a focus on financing solutions for cities and features dedicated to cities worldwide. The Communication BU develops the strategy and creates diverse content for digital communication and events. The Strategy BU designs the long-term exploitation plan to ensure project sustainability.
