TRANSversal Actions for Tritium

TRANSAT aimed to enhance knowledge on tritium management in fission and fusion facilities. It proposed actions to address the following main challenges:

• Strategies for mitigating tritium release
• Improvement of waste management
• Refinement of knowledge in the fields of radiotoxicity, radiobiology, and dosimetry

A dedicated part of the project focused on radiotoxicity, radioecology, radiobiology and dosimetry of tritiated particles produced during dismantling, the impacts of which had not been addressed before.

• Support to the coordinator for the project set up
• Task leader for the communication and dissemination WP
• Support to the coordinator and the consortium as project management office (PMO)
