The current health crisis has had a profound impact on LGI, particularly in the way we work. Microsoft Team and Zoom meetings have completely replaced physical travel to our partners’ or clients’ premises.
While the health crisis has been difficult on many levels, one positive aspect is that it has forced us to innovate, bringing LGI closer to its carbon neutrality objectives that are in line with its status as a mission-driven company. As clients and partners have become more familiar with an online mode of operation, we anticipate that we—and the world—will continue to travel less than before, even after the health crisis has passed. This is very good news for climate , given the global impact of the aviation sector on climate change accounts for 2,5% of CO2 emissions, equivalent to 3.5% of the effective radiative forcing.
