To achieve systemic change on climate change at scale, sticking to business as usual won’t cut it. We need to design bold experiments that explore new territories and allow us to accelerate our learning in areas beyond our comfort zone. This is why Climate-KIC holds the Urban Transitions Workshop that allows for said exploration of new territories.

Since the LGI team is constantly evolving, we could not pass up the chance to connect with other partners and build relationships to help you land your goals in 2019 and beyond.
The 4th Urban Transitions workshop was held on 12-14 September 2018 in the city of Malaga. Gathering city leaders and sustainable innovators from across Europe, LGI contributed to addressing challenges presented by the cities of Sevilla, Madrid and Genova and brought its experience in Urban Heat Islands (UHI) and low-carbon strategies.
Coincidentally, we have a blog post you can explore on How can cities tackle Urban Heat Islands?
