Organisation of the Retail Forum 2019

Retail sector and the European Commission were working side by side since 10 years with a common goal: promote sustainable consumption, reducing the environmental impact of the EU retail sector and its supply chain.

This initiative was processed through the Retailers’ Environmental Action Plan, a voluntary initiative which aims at reducing environmental impacts in the retail sector and its supply chain, promoting more sustainable products, and providing better information to consumers.

The 10 years anniversary of the Retail Forum was celebrated on the 11th of December 2019 in Brussels and alligned with the launch of the EU Green Deal initiative. 

• Consolidation of the technical programme of the event jointly with the EC representatives to welcome representatives from European Retail Round Table, various EC DGs, associations and private sector. 
• Overall event logistics (venue, catering, professional photographer and moderator)
• Post-event promotion of the related outcomes
