CLEARING HOUSE
Collaborative Learning in Research, Information-sharing and Governance on How Urban tree-based solutions support Sino-European urban futures
Urban forests are among the solutions being studied to address several challenges facing cities in the 21st century: urban heat islands and climate adaptation, loss of social cohesion, biodiversity loss,
Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) are promoted by several public and private actors in the last few years, with the promise of providing solutions with less impact and lower cost than conventional infrastructure projects.
The CLEARING HOUSE project conducts cross-analyses in 5 European and 5 Chinese cities, in order to identify replicable good practices, to design a decision support framework for urban policy actors, and to identify innovative business models to mobilize private investment.
OUR ROLE
- Lead the analysis of innovative public-private financing models and the exploitation strategy of project results
- Lead the public communication and dissemination of the project
- Build and follow-up the solution co-design process to be deployed in the 10 cities
