PROMETIA Secretariat - Secretariat Support

The European association PROMETIA (Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy for Mining and Recycling - Innovation Association) was established in December 2014. Its purpose is to federate actors in the field of raw materials at European level, build consensus on the required pre-competitive R&D roadmaps, and establish a structured dialogue with European institutional actors.

With the strong involvement of piloting facilities in the network, PROMETIA helps research partners take their ideas further and make them grow in the TRL scale to become more attractive for industry. 

LGI supported the establishment of the PROMETIA Association in 2014 and since then actively supports its secretariat to ensure in particular:

• Administrative and financial management 
• Animation of the members and stakeholders network 
• Execution of the Communication strategy  
• Organisation of the TechTours
• Running the Knowledge Repository
• Organisation of the annual General Assembly
