THE E.U. PROVIDES ONE OF THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE FUNDING PACKAGES FOR RESEARCH AND INNOVATION ON THE PLANET.
EU grants are very attractive and as a result, extremely competitive. Projects focus not only on science
and innovation, but also on their impact on society, economy and the environment. This requires in-depth
knowledge of a wide variety of fields, such as market and business models, intellectual property rights,
knowledge management and communication, as well as great networking with established and new
players.
Since 2005, LGI has been involved in nearly 100 successful proposals in various
Framework Programmes, totalling several hundred million euros. Having assessed hundreds of evaluations,
we know what makes a winning proposal. We can get involved as early as the project concept design and
grant application, and throughout project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and long-term,
post-project planning.
LGI is regularly involved as a full partner in consortia, typically in
charge of innovation strategy, communication and project management. All our business units collaborate
and bring their expertise in making EU projects a success. This gives us a 360-degree view of the entire
process – from the proposal stage to post-project audits. Since 2013 we have also built on that
knowledge to offer onsite or offsite training on EU proposal writing, project management and
dissemination.
